3.2. Downloading the Scanner

To use the stand-alone, Sonatype CLM scanner, first download the jar file named similar to sonatype-clm-scanner-1.7.0-02.jar from the Sonatype Support website and place the file in its own directory.

Note

Be sure to remember where you placed the scanner. As a recommendation, it’s best to have the scanner in it’s own directory, and not shared with the Sonatype CLM Server.
